About Big LWA
Big LWA is a creative collective and personal studio for making, learning, archiving, sharing, and connecting differently.
People are rarely only one thing. Big LWA makes room for the artist, student, researcher, collector, friend, and future self to live together.
The platform is in active development and is being shaped around cultural memory, creative independence, and care for the people behind the work.
Your home base: shape a profile, choose an atmosphere, arrange widgets, and let the space grow with you.
Move between Projects, Desk, Diary, Photobooth, and creative tools without flattening every idea into a post.
Keep references, memories, media, reading, and works in progress close enough to find again.
Follow curiosity through context, prompts, maps, books, film, music, and ideas that cross disciplines.
Bring the profiles and services you choose into view. Outside platforms are connections—not the center of your identity.
Find people through shared interests and creative energy, with room for context, consent, and real connection.
Boards are one part of Big LWA, but the larger idea is a living creative environment. A saved image can become a project reference. A diary thought can become a draft. A place on the Map can hold a memory. Music, reading, clothes, research, and friendships can stay connected without becoming indistinguishable.
You decide what remains private, what becomes part of your archive, and what you eventually share. The studio is meant to support the process—not pressure you to perform it.
Big LWA is developing account connections and cloud features in stages. Optional services—including Pinterest, TikTok, Instagram, calendars, and media libraries—belong in Orbit as tools you choose to connect or disconnect.
They extend the studio; they do not define it.
Actively being builtFounded by Leian Stanley, a Haitian-born creator, creative director, and UCLA graduate, Big LWA grows from a belief that creativity, education, memory, and community can strengthen one another.
Its purpose is to help people make and explore with context, protect the social body, and build brighter worlds without surrendering authorship or identity.
Our Affidavit of Good Faith describes the mutual care and accountability we ask of the platform and its members.
