biglwa is a personal social space for creating a profile, saving diary entries, sharing media, and optionally connecting accounts from other platforms. This policy explains what information the service collects, how it is used, and the choices available to you.
information you provide
When you create a biglwa account, we collect your name or display name, email address, and account credentials. Passwords are stored as protected password hashes, not as readable passwords. We also process information you choose to add, including profile details, a handle, diary entries, uploaded images or other media, settings, and links.
connected social accounts
If you choose to connect Facebook, Instagram, X, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok, Twitch, LinkedIn, or another supported service, biglwa receives only the account information and permissions authorized through that service. Depending on the permissions granted, this may include your platform account identifier, username, display name, profile image, account details, media, and access credentials needed to maintain the connection. Connecting a social account is optional, and you may disconnect it through your account settings.
how your information is used
We use information to create and secure accounts; display and save your profile, diary, media, and preferences; provide requested social-account connections; troubleshoot technical issues; protect the service against misuse; and comply with applicable legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information or connected-platform account data.
sharing and service providers
Information may be processed by infrastructure providers that host the website, store account records and uploaded files, or help deliver essential service functionality. When you connect an external platform, information is exchanged with that platform as required to complete the connection and fulfill the permissions you authorize. We may disclose information when necessary to comply with the law or protect users and the service.
cookies and security
biglwa uses account-session cookies and similar essential technologies to keep you signed in and protect account access. We use reasonable technical safeguards, including protected password storage and access controls, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
retention
Account information, profile content, diary entries, uploaded media, and social-account connection records are retained for as long as needed to provide the requested service, maintain account security, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Disconnecting a social account removes its connection record from biglwa, subject to necessary security, backup, and legal retention requirements.
your choices and data deletion
You may update the information in your profile, remove content you control, and disconnect connected social accounts through the available account controls. To request deletion of your biglwa account or associated personal information, contact the biglwa account administrator using the contact method provided with your account and identify the account email address. Requests are reviewed and processed subject to identity verification, technical limitations, and applicable legal requirements.
children's privacy
biglwa is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact the account administrator so the information can be reviewed and removed when appropriate.
policy changes
We may update this policy as biglwa evolves or legal requirements change. The effective date below identifies the latest published version. Continued use of the service after an update is subject to the revised policy where permitted by law.
